What is a fab primer that gives you a glow,that u can wear with or without foundation? – Christy O.

Jeannie: I am married to Sally Hansen’s Natural Beauty Luminizing Face Primer.  It gives you glow JLo would be jealous of! What I love is that it’s not only flawless for coverage under foundation for red carpets, but it’s also spotlit gorgeous worn by itself for everyday. I also dab a bit on my shoulder tops and chest for a sultry night out.

What do you think about breaking fashion rules? Are there any you will absolutely positively adhere to? I think the fashion world’s become innovative so much so that the rules no longer apply (i.e. all primary color palette in last Spring’s Elle, mixing patterns, wearing white after Labor Day). – Donnette N.

Jeannie: First off, Jeannie Mai don’t lie. And I. Hate. Fashion Rules. Here’s the thing, trends are birthed from rules being broken! What’s your fashion trademark? What’s one accessory you absolutely cannot go without on any given day?  -Holly P.

Jeannie: My trademark is to overdress to impress. Who’s says you can’t wear sequins in the day? And the one thing I absolutely can’t leave the day without is a lil superwoman blue in my hair

Who are your influences in life? – Tara R.

Jeannie: I am driven by my faith. I feel so blessed to have life, let alone say that I’m truly living my dream job which is to to spread girl power worldwide! God reminds me I’m here with purpose, and people that overcome their challenges are influences to me.

Where do you usually begin with an outfit and how do you make decisions on what to pair together? – Samia K.

Jeannie: Promise you won’t tell? I actually begin with looking at pictures of food! Yes! I believe in looking delicious, and I just love the meld of colors and textures great food have together. The second thing I take into account is my theory of WEARAPY. I believe certain colors and textures can enhance your mood and situations. So if I’m going into a first day on a shoot, I wear creamsicle orange or bright yellow to give my warmest hello possible.
